The black suits WANT you focused on "Fauci's private diary" because Snowden proved they already planted these fake documents years ago to distract from the alien disclosure that the Deep State is still trying to keep quiet. Another simulation glitch, Fox News packaging a diary like it is some revelation while the MAGA zombie crowd and the anti Trump crowd both turn it into tribal confetti. If they cared about reality instead of spin, fair and balanced would not keep sounding so unfair and unbalanced.
This will sell a ton of books and that's basically the whole story. Guy writes candid opinions about powerful people during the most chaotic public health moment in modern history, waits until the heat dies down, monetizes it. Totally normal move and I don't even blame him for it. What I do find tiresome is that every outlet picks the angle that fits their priors. Fox leads with Trump and Meadows because that's the drama their audience wants. CNN would lead with the celebrities because it humanizes him. Neither framing gets you any closer to the actual accountability questions that still haven't been answered about lab leak, mask guidance flip-flops, school closure recommendations. The diary stuff is personality content. It's interesting the way any insider memoir is interesting. It tells you nothing about whether the institutional decisions were right.
